Fees and PaymentsBulgarian Czech Estonian Hungarian Polish Romanian Russian Course Registration Fee (CRF)Credit students will pay a €10 CRF or the equivalent in USD to register for each course, no matter the location. Audit students (non-credit) will pay a €20 CRF for each course taken in Austria and a €15 CRF for each course taken at any course location in country. Students who wish to cancel their course registration must inform the TCM office (if course is offered at Haus Edelweiss) or their national director (if course is offered at any course location in country) before the course begins. Students who cancel their course registration within two weeks of the first day of class or do not show up for the course must still pay the CRF. In addition, if textbooks or a “notarized” invitation (required for an Austrian visa) have been issued to a student who cancels their course registration then they must reimburse the TCM office for the full cost of the textbooks, notarized invitation (unless the visa application was denied), and related postage. No subsequent courses may be taken until the student has paid any outstanding (past due) fee or reimbursement. Annual Institute Services Fee (AISF)The AISF helps cover student services provided by TCM associated with active student administration and support, research tools and resources, technology, thesis and project supervision, etc. The AISF must be paid by each student, beginning with the year the student is admitted into a program and ending with the year the student graduates from a program. The AISF rates by country are as follows: €60 – Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Poland €40 – Belarus, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Russia (west), Ukraine €20 – Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia (east), Uzbekistan All other countries will be determined as needed. Combined CRF-AISF OptionIf a student desires, they can choose to make one combined (lump-sum) CRF and AISF payment annually, instead of separate CRF and AISF payments. Under this option the student can register for as many courses as they wish during the school (calendar) year without any additional fees. This option would benefit the student who takes more than two courses during a school year. The Combined CRF-AISF rates by country are as follows: €80 – Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Poland €60 – Belarus, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Russia (west), Ukraine €40 – Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia (east), Uzbekistan All other countries will be determined as needed. Any exemption or adjustment to these fees must be approved by the TCM administration in consultation with the respective national director. The annual payment due date (deadline) for the Annual Institute Services Fee (AISF) or the Combined CRF and AISF is January 31, unless a student is admitted into a program after that date, in which case the student has 6-weeks from the date of admission to make the annual payment. No subsequent courses may be taken until the student has paid any outstanding (past due) fee or reimbursement.
